Arriving with nothing more than a beat up Honda and the phone number of the gaffer from the Revo job, Kurt Iswarienko spent his first years in Hollywood working as a lighting technician for some of the most prolific cinematographers in the business before going on to build up a provocative portfolio featuring images for high profile ad campaigns as well as portraits of a wide array of A-list celebrities. He became known for his cinematic style, bringing a rugged new Hollywood glamour to photography.
Over the years, what has emerged as one of the keystones of Kurt’s style is his ability to elicit openness and trust from some of the most private well known figures in the world.
