What if we could take a road trip with a person from before our time? Well, believe it or not, that is what I did recently. I am an avid fan of Nirvana, so it is only fitting that I brought my friend Kurt Cobain with me for a road trip from Phoenix to Seattle. Seattle is not only in close proximity to Nirvana's birthplace, but it is home to the Museum of Pop Culture, which prides itself in having the largest collection of Nirvana memorabilia in the world. Kurt Cobain founded the iconic grunge band Nirvana in 1987. Following the release of the single “Smells like Teen Spirit” from Nirvana's second studio album Nevermind in 1991, the band exploded into the mainstream.
