Kurt Cobain was one of the best grunge artists ever (if you ask me). He was part of two bands, Nirvana, and Fecal matter. He was the lead singer in both bands, and formed them both. Kurt Cobain didn’t have the best childhood, his parents yelled all of the time, and they got a divorce when he was nine, but he showed talent when he was in kindergarten so he kept on doing what he loved to do.

Childhood
Kurt was born on February 20, 1967 in Aberdeen, Washington. As a child Kurt Cobain learned to play the piano by ear, played the drums, and could draw very good. But as a teen he started to listen to punk rock and found a band named The Melvins, and made friends with Buzz Osborne, a member of the band.

Kurt Cobain spent most of his time living everywhere, with his friends, sleeping in hallways, sleeping in the library, and sleeping in hospital waiting room when he didn’t have any other place to stay. In 1985 he got arrested for spray painting buildings in town, he got a fine, and got suspended for his actions. Several months later Kurt started his first band called Fecal Matter. They recorded many songs but never got any gigs.

Kurt was married to Courtney Love and had a child named Frances Bean Cobain. Kurt and Courtney were married for two years but many times when married Kurt to Courtney that he wanted to get a divorce. He also had two sisters and one brother. The older sister 's name is Kimberly Cobian and the younger sister’s name is Brianne O’Conner. His brothers name is Chad Cobain. His mother’s and father’s name was Wendy and Donald Cobain.

Death
On April 5, 1994 in Seattle, washington Kurt Cobain committed suicide. Before he killed himself he was missing for a few days. And Before he killed himself he left a suicide note that was explaining that he didn’t want to feel guilty for faking and pretending to have 100% fun all of the time.
