Kuklinski was convicted for the murder of 5 known victims four of which are Paul Hoffman, Louis Masgay, Gary Smith, Daniel Depper. although he claims there was over 290. After 25 years of working as a hitman, Kuklinki started his own crime business. His first victim of his person crime business was Paul Hoffman. Hoffman and Kuklinski were arranged to meet, and Kuklinski was supposed sell illegal amounts of a drug called Tagamet. After Hoffman gave Kuklinski the money, Kuklinski attempted to shoot him but after that failed he beat him to death with a tire iron. He then placed Hoffman’s body in a 50-gallon drum and placed it outside a motel. His second known victim was Gary Smith discovered. She was born in Rochester Michigan in 1956. Wuornos had a rough childhood, she was sexually abused by multiple members of her family and thrown out of her while she was in her young teenage years. Wuornos experienced horrifying abuse and damaging psychological events in her childhood. Her father killed himself while in jail serving time for child molestation, while her mother abandoned her and older brother Keith. Wuornos didn’t have it any easier with her grandparents, her grandparents were alcoholics and her grandfather threatened the children with violent force. Wuornos and her brother both experienced sexual abuse by their grandparents. In her later teens, Wuornos was kicked out of her house and forced to live in the woods. She later became a ward of the state. As Wuornos entered her adult years, she started to engage in sex work to survive. Wuornose eventually settled in Florida, where she met a wealthy man named Lewis Fell later married. All her victims were thought to be traveling on the Florida highways. Wuornos being a sex worker, made easy for her to lure her victims in by offering herself to them and be picked up. Wournos is an example of a disorganized killer, she was not highly intelligent. Wuornos was psychotic and she took the lives of people killings impulsively, her killings were never fully planned. Wuornos’ first known victim was a shop owner, the 51 year old’s name was Richard Mallory. Wuornos later claimed in an interview that he attempted to rape her and she killed in defending herself. She murdered Mallory by shooting him three times with a .22 pistol. She then dumped his body in a wood beside Interstate 95, and stole his car. During the investigation of Mallory’s death, the police came across evidence linking him to the party life and sex binges. This helped police get an idea of what kind of killer they were looking for (Wuornos, & Berry-Dee

    A lot of people want to blame the parents of the offenders, asking “what did you turn your child into?” 36% of serial killers were physically abused, 26% were sexually abused, and 50% were psychologically abused (Mitchell and Aamodt 45). Many people have logically come to the conclusion that just because someone is abused, it does not mean that they will become a serial killer; or even a murderer; which is true.
