These experiences have covered the Primary spectrum, teaching single and mixed age classes, as well as working alongside experienced educators who I have learned from and whose guidance help shape my teaching style. I have worked across the Primary spectrum, with the majority of this time being spent in Key Stage 2. Whilst working at the Cathedral Catholic Primary School, I successfully covered PPA duties in Key Stage 2 and provided supply cover, which was praised by the staff and governors of the school. During my PGCE, I received high praise from the teachers who mentored me and finished with the grade “Outstanding”, which I maintain through high standards of professionalism. I have taught all subjects across the Primary spectrum, as well as having viewed their teaching extensively and this has allowed me to analyse and reflect on how subjects are successfully taught, benefitting the children, their progress and the teachers. Maths is my curriculum strength, having studied it as part of my first degree. I have taught Maths in all Key Stages, provided Maths interventions in Key Stage 1 and 2, as well as teaching those sitting the Level 6 paper, giving me a great depth of experience.
