Kristi and Catherine's views are different about Ryan because Kristi just moved into Catherine and Ryan’s neighborhood and does not know how Ryan can be a little mean sometimes. Catherine knows how Ryan can be mean sometimes because David has experienced Ryan not being nice to him by telling David was going to take his umbrella. Also Catherine was on the bus with David and she was standing up for David. Kristi only talked to Ryan once she hasn't experienced what David did when Ryan was going to take his umbrella. That day on the bus David held onto his bright red umbrella so tight because David was scared of Ryan taking his bright red umbrella.
