Companies around the world normally have a code of ethics that its employees follow to maintain a successful business. Ethics are the moral principles that guide a person’s action in anything they do. Many companies focus their ethics to provide a fair environment for their employees as well as a safe one, too. I believe that ethics are very important to have in the work place because without them there wouldn’t be a structure in the company. Although ethics are the moral principles that guide a person’s actions, different employees might have different definitions of what they think is right. Therefore, having a set code of ethics helps to prevent an employee making an excuse up for doing something they think is right but is actually wrong. Like Harold S. Jushner says “there is no right way to do a wrong thing”. This quote is very important in companies because in ethics once there is a standard and a specific way to do it than the right thing to do is the expectation and doing the wrong thing is the exception. …show more content…
While reading through their ethics, I saw that Kraft Heinz mainly focuses on safety in their workspace and producing safe food. The company ensures that their employees are safe by wear expecting them to appropriate gear, operate machinery according to instruction, and taking appropriate as well as immediate action when a safety hazard arises. They also make their employees feel safe by not tolerating any discrimination or harassment by anyone. They finally strive to reflect commitment to integrity in the Company’s public communications. Kraft Heinz tries to maintain their integrity by marketing their foods in a truthful wat as well as recording their records
