“It is my unfortunate duty to report, that the POTUS and VPOTUS have both died in unrelated incidents. A piece of legislation that the President signed in a few weeks ago will dictate the election process, and tomorrow the next president of these united states will elected by a national popular vote, and will be sworn in immediately.” The audience at the press conference where (word choice) stunned into a confused silence, as no further noise was audible from the press room for several moments.
