Extract Chosen= A This is a letter detailing the correspondence between the British foreign secretary Sir Edward Grey to the British Ambassador to Austria, Sir M. de Bunsen following a conversation he had on the morning of 23rd July 1914 (Great Britain Foreign Office, 1915). The letter was written when the July Crisis was at its peak and was written five days before the declaration of war from Austria-Hungary to Serbia. Both the source and Legrain believe that the world will benefit from the influence of modern culture, and would argue that identity is able to thrive in the process of globalization because the new and different aspects introduced to a culture allow for a wider understanding and more opportunity for individuals to discover new talents and religions, both of which make up a large part of a person's identity. In the sources opinion, an individual would be able to choose what they wish and the resulting freedom would strengthen a sense of identity. The source might also state that many job opportunities are afforded to nations that experience social globalization, as is expected with the introduction of new businesses and companies. In opposition to the source, one might draw attention to dangers of social globalization, such as the disregard for smaller cultures that have been usurped by larger cultures, who wished to assimilate other nations and spread a culture that represented the beliefs of their…

Why is political stability important for the integration of the EAC partner STATES? Political stability is the condition of the government of the country that precludes the possibility of open revolt because the government is governing correctly, people are content, the leader is far from corrupt, and citizens benefit from all the policies. The five member states of the East African Community (Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi, and Uganda) have had traumatic historical events and disagreements that led to the failure of the first East African Community ( in 1977). The five countries have now realized the importance of political stability and are overcoming it by instilling democratic processes and integrating their economies together to ensure that…
