This year will be a first for the Coastal Hurricanes baseball program, according to head coach Jason Rockwell. “We have never played in a post-season game before,” said Rockwell. This year it becomes a reality as the Hurricanes will travel to Charleston, South Carolina to play in the South Carolina Homeschool Tournament. The Hillsborough Middle School Girls Lacrosse Team had an exceptional season, finishing with a strong record of 11-5. They managed to score a whopping 147 goals, and 19 out of the 22 players contributed to that miraculous number. Although the team suffered a tough loss during the semi-finals in a close game against Montgomery, they each blossomed as not only players but people. The articles that I have read was “An apple a day bring more apples your way” by Aner Tal and Brain Wahisink was about individuals who ate an apple sample before shopping bought 25 % more fruits and vegetables then those who did not eat a sample because having a healthy snack before shopping put them in a healthier mindset and steer them towards making better food choices. The Tasmanian Healthy Brain Project was a study that sought determine whether university-level education carried out over the course of a minimum of twelve months would benefit healthy older adults in significantly increasing cognitive reserve.
