One of the main problems with this belief is the fact that there are so many ways to cheat the system and get a certification even if you do not deserve one. Another issue that arises is that there are many well-educated people without a good education. I will admit that even I am quick to judge the brilliance of someone based off of the degree that follows their name, but a degree, of even a lack of, does not define whether or not a person is smart. This is similar to how in the Bible it says that man looks at the outward appearance, like a degree for example, but God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7 New International
