Kohl’s is one of the main retailers in the united states. Having diverse ways to accommodate and provide value to the customer is an essential part to keep on business. The fact that the in-store retailing industry is having a rough time given online shopping, being able to stand out is the best way to keep on business. This infographic is just a proof of Kohl’s trying to excel from the competition by having environmentally friendly stores and processes. Even though kohl’s is a physical retailer, they have also expanded to online shopping, but that does not give them an excuse to neglect their storefront. Being environmentally friendly is a way to put attention into their physical stores. The information detailed could be considered plain if is displayed in a traditional sentence by sentence format, but the infographic manages to show detail by detail how is kohls keeping its commitment to be green. I don’t believe this infographic could be appropriate to create knowledge of big data because this infographic reading material is too much and the few graphics accompanying the text may need some guidance to be understood.
