An influential person is a person who uses their own words to inspire others. To Begin, Muhammad Ali respectfully encourages others by saying, “Don’t count the days, make the days count.” Clearly, he wanted people to understand that they don’t need to worry about how long it will take to reach your goal. Moreover, Muhammad Ali believes pardoned about how many days it will take a person to reach their goal will slow them from reaching that goal. To summarize, Muhammad Ali believes that people need to make the days count by working at your best ability while trying your absolute best. Secondly “If you're afraid you're going to fail, then you're probably going to fail,” justifies Kobe Bryant. Likewise, Kobe Bryant feels that people need to …show more content…
To begin, Kobe Bryant respectfully encourages others by saying, “If you're afraid to fail, then you're probably going to fail.” Clearly, he wanted others to know that have to be confident in yourself if you want to reach a goal or ever have success in life. Moreover, Kobe Bryant believes that you shouldn’t ever tell yourself that you can’t do something because as soon as you tell yourself you can't because then you’re telling yourself won't be able to achieve your goal. To summarize, Kobe Bryant justifies that always try your best because success is good in life. Secondly, “Everything negative are all opportunities for me to rise.” This quote illustrates that negativity can destroy you as a person. However, Kobe Bryant shows that negativity makes him work harder as a human. He believes that if anyone ever says anything to make you feel that you're not good at something such as basketball you should just ignore them and keep trying your best because you will reach the goal you have set for yourself. Not only does Mr. Bryant encourage others to do their best he also believes that he doesn’t want to be like other NBA legends he wants to be himself. His quote, “I don’t want to be the next Michael Jordan, I want to be the next Kobe Bryant.” Basically, This quote expresses that even if you do look up to Michael Jordan you should be your own kind of person be yourself because you want to be different, be different than others, be your own kind of person not mirroring someone else. All together, last season in the NBA when Kobe Bryant announced his retirement the world was sad to see him go he played 19 years and finished with a total of 33,643 points and he is number 3 in most points scored in an entire career.
