Knowledge Management within Accenture is going a step beyond connecting people to people. They allow agencies to collaborate more effectively by connecting people to knowledge and knowledge to knowledge. Knowledge management previously had two stages, but as time went by a third stage was developed and these are:

 Stage One

The first stage of KM was driven fundamentally by information technology.
Organization especially the vast international consulting ones- -understood that their stock in exchange was information and knowledge, that regularly the left hand had no clue what the right hand knew, and that in the event that they could share that knowledge, they could abstain from reevaluating the wheel, underbid their rivals and make more profit.
