In my opinion, I believe that knowledge could be good or bad. I believe it is the people that interpret knowledge that put a negative or positive spin on it. Hitler's autobiographical-political book, Mein Kampf, is banned in some bookstores and libraries because some are scared that people will become influenced by it and adapt Hitler's ideas. In the book Frankenstein, it refers to the dangerousness or forbidden nature of Victor's seeking of knowledge.There is a quote in Chapter Two, where he is admitting that the knowledge he seeks "the secrets of heaven and earth" are ones that shouldn’t really be looked for. By him using the word "secret" Victor is admitting that the knowledge he is looking for is forbidden.Another example on how knowledge could be dangerous. Say that frankenstein was a true story. Frankenstein had all of that knowledge on how to make a monster, well he makes the monster and the monster is actually alive, is evil and kills everyone around him.
