(SIP-A) The truth behind the society is unseen by many people, which makes them lose grasp of knowledge and memory. (STEWE-1) In relationships, people don't even remember their past. They ask “The first time we ever met, where was it and when?”(Bradbury 40). This proves the people in society who don't notice what the government is hiding, have problems with memory and knowledge. Nobody sees the hidden truth behind the government. Along with forgetting the past, these robots have a hard time understanding. (STEWE-2) They admit “Half the time I couldn't hear a word he said. And the words I did hear I didn't understand!" (Bradbury 93). As they listen to the conversation, they don't comprehend. (SIP-B) By living their lives under the government, the people are unhappy and take their emotions out of destruction, or simply commit suicide. Committing suicide is a long term solution for a short term problem, yet when people feel any kind of emotion or have any kind of problem, they distinguish it. They won't even bother thinking of the aftermath or contemplating whether suicide is the best option because they don't even bother thinking.
