They were the school bullies, and they ran their school. They told everyone what to do, and would beat them up if they did not obey their rules. When the leader, Monk Klutter, bullies Priscilla’s friend Melvin, Priscilla is furious, “His hands never quite make it to Melvin. In a move of pure poetry Priscilla has monk in a hammerlock.
