Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park: Chapter Analysis

In this chapter I discuss climate change policies and strategies implemented through the National Park Service and various Alaskan agencies and climate change studies conducted at Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Several climate change policies and scenarios exist to provide national parks with proper management strategies to mitigate impacts on cultural and natural resources. KLGO has conducted various studies examining impacts to cultural and natural resources including repeat photography, glacier analyses, and river bank erosion assessments. This chapter also examines background information on ice patch archaeology.
