Klay Alexander Thompson, known for his exceptional three-point shooting, plays professional basketball for the Golden State Warriors. He has won four NBA championships, been named to the NBA All-Star team five times, and has earned gold medals for the U.S. national teams. Thompson attended Washington State University and was selected as the 11th overall choice in the 2011 NBA draft. He and Stephen Curry, known as “the Splash Brothers,” set an NBA record of 484 three-pointers in a single season in 2014. Thompson helped the Warriors win the NBA title in 2015 and 2022. He scored a career-high 41 points in a 127-104 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. In a memorable game against the Sacramento Kings, Klay Thompson scored a career-high 52 points in a 126-101 victory, setting a new NBA record for the most points scored in a single quarter.
