According to biography.com, parents Alois Hitler and Klara Polzl gave birth to Adolf Hitler on April 20, 1889, in Braunau am Inn, Austria. Hitler and his father didn’t get along very well, as he didn’t support Adolf’s interest in the arts as a career. Along with the arts, he also showed a large interest in German nationalism, which would be the main incentive in his life. Alois unexpectedly died in 1903, and two years later, Klara permitted him to drop out of school. She then died in December of 1907, and he moved to Vienna and became a watercolor painter and casual laborer.
