Kj Elves Identity Analysis

Masks are used to create a barrier and hide the true identity of an object.In the skit of “Identity” by KJ Adames, he depicts the struggles of society and how its people hide themselves behind masks. People in society seem to have a barrier covering who they truly are, portraying false image. A few people shatter this barrier and show their true image. When people shatter this barrier and show their true image. When people realise who they are, they live happily out of the dark,free from being fake and real to themselves. I created a lot of connections with other people throughout these team events because we share a common interest, soccer. I did not create a mask concealing myself because of how others acted, we were quite similar in fact. I was fulfilled with happiness because we ended up winning gold within one of the years which helped me feel accomplished because of my achievement. I did not stick around with others that had different interests instead I stayed with the people that were like me where they accepted who i was and did not need me to change who i was. Just like how the girl did not change her mask to become a “perfect” yellow she was herself. In conclusion people in society should not change their interests and beliefs based on what's acceptable to society. They should not create a wall dividing their identity from a reality to a fantasy. Instead they should accept who they are and join group events that you like to do. Whether it's sports or fashion, whatever interest you have others will have that same in that group. Therefore you could talk about your common likings. Do not conceal who you are to fit in, be like the girl who created her own path without the perfect
