According to the given case study, the report is intended for the top management as there are concerns of declining the sales of company’s products and plans for improving its performance. It is to be presented in the monthly senior management meeting which will be headed by the CEO in two weeks’ time.

• Purpose of the information required

As in the case, the primary purpose of the information is to prepare a report about the performance of their important product ( Kiwi power juice) in the market. The report is to be presented in the monthly meeting of senior management which is concerned about declining sales of the product because of strong competition and the slow economy.

• Scope of information required

The scope of gathering information consists of preparing the report which will assess the performance of Kiwi Power Juice by using previous reports of company about marketing and sales which are available in the marketing department. Addition to this, online sources will also be useful to collect information from external environment containing future marketing plans and information about market and the competitors.
