Asher loves listening to books. One of his favorite books is “Kitten’s First Full Moon”. He often brings that book to a teacher and ask her to read it to him. He has an amazing vocabulary considering his age. He prefers to have one on one conversations with teachers or his friends more than participating in a group setting. Asher has been choosing metal insets activity these days. It is a wonderful precursor activity that helps children strengthen their pincer grasp as well as give them practice of various strokes to form alphabet letters. He also loves sand paper letters and has been learning sounds of the letters m,a,s,t,c,r,i, and b. He loves when the teacher mixes up these letters and ask him to find the letter producing a particular sound.
