Saint Thomas Aqunas is an Italian Dominican friar, a priest, and considered to be an influential and the greatest philosopher and theologian of the Catholic Church that his works were very much remarkable and still relevant up to this date. According to him, there are five moral principles that may serve as the basis for a moral action; (1) the principle of double effect, (2) the principle of totality, (3) the principle of inviolability of life, (4) the principle of stewardship and, (5) the principle of sexuality and procreation. His principle of sexuality and procreation states that sexual union should be taken always as a means towards procreation and the nurturing of the children, not for just simply doing it for pleasure and own fulfilment.

In the Bible, premarital sex refers as fornication. Fornication is a sexual intercourse between people who were unmarried to each other. In Biblical teachings, what’s morally right is that you should save your virginity and purity until marriage. They also considered sex as a sacred thing that requires commitment of marriage first, who have already been received a blessing vested by a parish priest or a pastor, with the intention of reproducing and creating their own family.
