"Wanted" is basically from a comic book that has limited series written by Mark Miller and J.G Jones, it is about an amoral protagonist (Wesley Gibson) who is discovered as the heir of super assassin. Russian director, Timur Bekmambetov, he is the cream of the crop, he turns this comic into a movie that make the viewers not sit still and make their adrenaline and cortisone levels spike with the actions. Bekmambetov used the similar style of shots and angles with his previous movie, Night watch. It's more to wide angle (long shot), so we can see the terrifying background like one of the scenes in the torture room, where Wes has been beaten up by the butcher. Not even that, there are many special effects that Bekmambetov applies in this movie, like slow-motion with sound effects that certainly provides that "ouch" reaction from audiences.…

The dog movie “The Champions” I found to be a touching and profoundly dramatic film about the pit bulls rescued from the brutal fighting ring of former Atlanta Falcon’s star quarterback Michael Vick. It chronicled those brave individuals that risk it all to save them, overcoming much pressure from PETA and the Humane Society to euthanize them. The film successfully exposed the prejudice and much misunderstanding while slowly eradicating the myths surrounding this breed. The documentary unfolds the journey of five of the dogs such as Handsome Dan, Jonny and Little Red to name a few, and their second chance on life and their supreme power of resilience and the true significance of the Human- Animal Bond. It features several rescue organizations such as Best Friends Animal Society of southern Utah, BADRAP centered in Oakland, California and individual families who reached out to these creatures with love and compassion.…

These luxuries are not available to people in other countries and I believe that if I had to step into one of the four children in the movie On the Way to School I could handle living Carlos’s life. We live completely different lives and Carlos does not have all the luxuries I have. The Violin by Amy Chua and Two Kinds by Amy Tan are two novels about a mother-daughter relationship. The speakers utilize varying tones when speaking of recollections of their memories. Chua’s and Tan’s use of tense and hostile tones help illustrate the drama in the relationships that blankets the love between the mother and daughter. Amy Tan’s recounts of her past prove to be escalated versions of Amy Chau’s with lesser presence of love; however, love remains a driving force behind both of the mothers’ harsh encouragement. “The Violin” illustrates the mother-daughter relationship of Amy Chua and her daughter Lulu.…
