In an interview, Lottie Moggach says that: “Your Facebook page or Twitter feed is like a newspaper where you are the sole proprieter and every story is about you”. It is an artificial medium where we could easily create any story and present ourselves in the way we want others to see us, rather than what we really are. What if everything others post or say is fabricated?. Most people tend to present their life as a perfect, charming and joyful life. While in truth, they are just creating nice pieces of their life and projecting the light on those pieces. They tend to ignore the dull or unpleasant aspect of their life. In another interview with Moggach, she says that, “A simulation of life on Facebook and Twitter is in some way more appealing than reality, because you can control how you come across”. Lauren Elkin adds, “Online, we want to be ourselves, but not ourselves; we want to come across as better than ourselves, and we all agree to that deception as long as we all get to partake in
