Kisii residents have been urged to be vigilant during this festival season by making sure that they maintain peace and security.

Speaking on Saturday at Gusii stadium During Jamhuri day Kisii county deputy Commissioner Philip Soi, he said that his officer and all security agents have measures in place of maintaining security after and before the charisma festival.

The deputy commissioner said as much as they have measures in place residents should also partner with the security agents to curb crimes in society .

“We have measures in place during this month of festivals of making sure that security and orders are in place, so I urge all residents to maintain peace and report any case of insecurity to us” said Deputy Commissioner Soi
