He turned it on. “Link start” He calmly said. Bright colors flashed. Then after a couple seconds he was at “the fountain.” There was Eren in his “avatar.” Brown hair, blue fiery cape, black pants and boots and named Coro. Kirigaya’s avatar was named “Kirito.” He had long black hair white and red torso, black boots and the legendary sword “extase.” As Kirito walked up to Coro. I also left all of you a gift in your inventory.” Everyone opened their inventory. Inside was a mirror. “A mirror?” Kirito asked. Then everywhere a blinding flash appeared. The series of flashes ended. “ Kirito is that you?” Coro asked. “Coro why don’t you look like your avatar .. You look like you do in real life.” Kirito responded “Back at ya,” Coro came back. Then the floating figure spoke again, “Thank you for listening to the announcement. Good luck fighting.” Then it disappeared. 3 days later Coro told Kirito that he had made a new guild called “Gilded Dragons” ‘That’s great!” Kirito exclaimed “anyways I’ll be off.” “So you’re gonna be a solo player?” Coro asked. “I guess so,” Kirito replied. “Promise me something,” Coro told Kirito. “Don’t die.” “I won’t,” Kirito replied. Then they parted ways. The next day Kirito was hearing a group of people. He went to go investigate. It was a bunch of small groups planning to raid the first boss. Since everyone had a group to go in he felt like he needed one too. He looked around, he found someone alone. He approached this mysterious person. “Do you wanna create a temporary group?” Kirito

How does one become “immortal”? To answer that you’d have to pick a definition of immortal. I chose the art picture of the Afghan girl that was taken by Steve McCurry. The best kind art has meaning beyond just an image; perhaps it will bring you to tears, make you laugh, or remind you of something. It also will stand out in a crowd, and dares to be different. I believe this photo is very unique because it is understandable. By looking at this image, I see a beautiful young Afghan girl with the prettiest eyes that seems to be going through some hard times in her life.…

Gilgamesh, the eponymous protagonist of the epic poem Gilgamesh and the king of the large ancient city of Uruk, is a military hero who completes a series of quests during the span of the book, triumphing over his enemies. Despite the fact that Gilgamesh is very cruel to his people, the epic still considers him a “hero.” His murderous, violent nature does not dissuade the epic’s author from almost revering him as a great leader. The Mesopotamian definition of a “hero” was one who excelled in and dominated everything and served as an epitome of masculinity, and not one who necessarily benefitted the lives of others, reflecting the patriarchal and militaristic culture of Mesopotamian society.…

Atwood’s use of irony in The Handmaids Tale explores the use of satirical nature through themes, characters and scenes in the novel. A pure yet strong emotion such as love is manipulated into something bizarre to the human mind, stripping those their innocence and a pure sense of love. A love that is so pure between a Commander and his wife is destroyed when she lacks what the handmaid has, which is fertility. “It has nothing to do with passion or love or any of those other notions we used to titillate ourselves with” (Atwood, 94).…
