Kinky Boots The movie Kinky Boots complements the issues of organizational sociology with another set of important terms and concepts from this field. It is necessary to state that video perfectly conveys the meaning and practical application of the terms which will be described below. Staff-management relations must be organized in such a way that the employees fulfil their duties and maintain subordination and hierarchy, and the management controls the entire business process adequately and does not oppress the employees it controls. (Handel: 150). Kinky Boots reveals this problem and highlights the importance of proper balance between the two mentioned categories of business participants, when Charlie shall not use too strict approach, and the employees must understand his decisions, even though they may be unpopular, such as making the staff redundant or producing products that may be unattractive for the employees. It is quite a widely spread state of affairs, I suppose, that both parties of the mentioned relations are not satisfied with the course of this interaction, however, I do not think that there is any new effective model of such relations that would be attractive for both parties.
