Because, by listening to more stories, people may have wider thoughts about life, culture, ethnic makeup and can change their opinions about certain things. People have different choices in choosing what to read or be told, so everyone gets inspired from what they read or listen. So, storytelling obviously has a positive impact on human beings. Moreover, retelling stories can heal people who are emotionally oppressed, for instance in some countries there are special recreational places where people are healed by narrators. So, my idea about storytelling is very high, and I think that by reading more various stories, we can picture the past and change the things into a better side instead. We have been told so many stories by our grandparents, and this must be transferred to the next generation as well, as each retold story had put an image in our minds. If we try to recall every story retold by our ancestors, we would probably say that they had changed us considerably.
