King Tut was a great ruler, he re-did all the things that his father had done so that the egyptian people would be happy again. Even though he was a great king, many people despised him as king. Some of those being his father Ay, and his protector and the egyptian army general, Horemheb. The reason that I think King Tutankhamun died by assassination is because usually if someone does not like a leader or how the leader does things they either try to assassinate them or try to make them not leader any more. For example, some people did not like Abe Lincoln and he was assassinated. That is why I think that King Tutankhamun died by assassination.
