King Tut’s tomb was discovered in Egypt's Valley of the King's, stories were told that whoever messed with his tomb faced a terrible curse. So many people had the connection of opening his tomb that days later they faced a terrible death because they opened his tomb. But one person named Howard Carter, discovered the tomb but also physically opened it and removed his mummy from the tomb yet he lived until 1939, sixteen years later. When King Tut’s tomb was opened in the year of 1922 it was one of the biggest archaeological event (Lace, William W). Scientists wanted to test his body to figure out some stuff, they had research plans. The first step is sample the DNA of King Tut. By preparing a biopsy of a 33 hundred body. It took the scientist two and half hour to collect the samples because they were afraid to harm the mummy (Collecting Royal DNA). His ability is he can transform anything or everything into whatever he wants within just one touch. This ability makes him a wanted man. His dad passed when Cassel was very young and his mother has been arrested for years. The Feds tell Cassel that they need him to get rid of a very powerful man, the government, who is behind his mother’s arrest. To get his mother released he has to get rid of the government. So, Cassel makes his decision and with the Feds they make a perfect plan. The day to execute the plan is when the government will be talking to the people about new changes. So, it relies all on Cassel to execute the plan by using his power . When the day comes, to execute the plan, Cassel does the total opposite. He’s suppose to kill the governor but in fact what he does is he transforms himself into the governor's’ face and goes out to speak to the people. What Cassel tells the people is all the crimes he has committed as the government. All around the world people see this talk which leads to the real governor getting arrested and his mother being free. This book is a modern interpretation of what curses are nowadays (Black). Back then curses were as serious as getting someone killed or harming another person which lead them to never walk or talk or be able to anything again. But now generation and generation have passed and curses
