Korean “Lincoln” who did “government of the people, by the people, for the people”, King Sejong.
Sejong the Great (May 6, 1397 – May 18, 1450) was the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea. The reason why I respect King Sejong is, first of all, he invented a Hangul, a.k.a. Korean. Also, he supported some scientists to increase development of science. Subsequently, many inventions such as Sundial, Rain Gauge, Armillary Sphere. Especially Rain Gauge was the most important to Chosun dynasty which was agriculture country. But the most important reason why I respect King Sejong is because he was a benevolent king and he loved his nation. King Sejong always helped his people.
