King Richard Jenkins: The Vietnam War Soldier

When Jenkins joined the army, he was scared, nervous, skittish, but he only joined since his father, a colonel, wants Jenkins to have a military career. His father and other family members were also in the army. When he arrived to the military grounds, in Vietnam, he was put in a squad with Perry, Peewee, and Richie, and they all became splendid friends. Though on account of Jenkins feelings, him being scared most of the time, he didn’t paid much attention to what he was doing. Jenkins simply seemed vague during combat, and that caused him a lot of problems, some vast problems, which led him to his death. He had fun with his friends, but he didn’t seem like he was there, even though he was physically there but not always mentally. He
