Imagine being four years old and being king of one of the most powerful country in the world. King Louis XIV was one of the kings of France that ruled at the age of four. King Louis XIV was established as the mythological God Apollo who was ‘The Sun King’. King Louis XIV was a good king as far as kings go but king Louis leads France into debt with his hunger for war and the amount of money he spends for his own personal use. Louis was known for stabilizing France and making the country a strong European function.The lux of Louis’s daily life was a financial burden to France.This brings the next points of how Louis stabilized France.

Louis created fancy court rituals so everyone would depend on him. Louis moved the royal court to Versailles, so everyone could see his enormous wealth. King Louis changed society by being selfish and arrogant and only do things that will please God and not the people that depend on him. “...the Sun King embodied the inspiration, of France’s achievements, aspiration, glory, and power ” (Cronin 23).This quote shows how Louis expressed his love for France’s glory and power but never about the people.The reason of a king is to help the people to find a way to make the country better not worse.After 72 years after King Louis died in 1715 most of the lands that were acquired by the King had to be returned to pay for the finance.
In conclusion, King Louis XIV wasn't the greatest king but Louis did do pretty good but not so bad.Comparing Louis to the modern world today he would be the worst political leader.This is important because today's leaders need to know not to got to war with other countries all the time and always wanting to be #1 all the time.The modern world leaders should also take care of the people.The implication was the finance and if the rich people weren't wasting the money on useless things then France would be a better country and there wouldn't be a revolution of The Reign of
