What does it mean to be a leader? Is it someone like a coach? A CEO? The President? While some of these might sound like powerful titles or positions to have, but they don’t necessarily mean that you’re a leader. Everyone probably has their own definition for leadership, but to me a leader is not just the title or the position, it is the unprecedented dedication, integrity, courage, and trustworthy your team of people.
It is surprising that we have leaders all around us and that person might be as common as your mom or dad in the family. Parents are a great example of leadership, because they are the one who dedicated a great deal to the family by providing, teaching, being considerable, making sure the family is superb, and countless other things. We see people in leadership position every day that fail at what they do, because they don’t cater to what your group of people believe in, or worse, leader could go against it. There are many great examples in our history that prove rulers in the past have failed due to their lack of leadership qualities. For example Joseph Stalin, he went against his people and what they thought was right, which is not to overwork his people to death just to bring in more revenue for the country. This led to the rise to the rebellion of Russia people who want to get rid of Stalin as a ruler.
In conclusion, a successful leader is all about how devoted you are into your team of people along with other crucial traits needed in a leader. An outstanding team require an outstanding leader that can bring a person’s potential to its fullest.
