Cassap awoke the next morning to the sun shining on her face. She had hoped that it all was just a dream and that she would wake up in her home. As soon as she looked around the room she knew that it wasn’t. The big bed and high ceilings reminded her of the sacrifice that she had made for her village. She would now have to become what King Hereward referred to as Catholic and change her name to Lady Avelin. The door to her chambers opened and a woman dressed in strange robes walked in.
“Lady Avelin, King Hereward expects your presence at breakfast so hurry and get dressed. There were some clothes placed in here for you last night. They are in the chest. The rest of the clothes have been placed in King Hereward's chambers because that's where

The woman left out of the room and Cassap aka Lady Avelin got out of the bed and headed to the chest. She looked at the wardrobe and it was nothing like what she would normally wear. Here in the castle though she didn’t have a choice. She threw on one if the dresses in the chest and the sandals that was laid out for her. She walked out of the room and tried to find her way to the dining hall but only got lost. The woman from her room spotted her and came to get her.
“This way Lady Avelin,” said the woman.
She followed behind her and the woman led her to a big room with a huge table and a big chandelier was on the ceiling. Their was a lot of food on the table. More than she had seen in a while and her stomach, as if on cue, grumbled. The woman motioned for her to take a seat at the end and for the first time she noticed that King Hereward was at the other end.
“Good morning my dear. I’m glad that you could join me,” said King Hereward.
She nodded her head. “Thank you for having me.”
“The wedding will be at noon today and the whole kingdom will be attendance. My priest will marry us and once we feast you will join me in my chambers,” he

They eat breakfast in silent and one of the maids take her back to her room where she is prepped for her wedding. The maids do her hair and help put her on her dress and shoes. She’s then escorted out to a carriage where it takes her to the church. She began to get anxious but knows this is what she must do if she wants to save her family and village. The church looked weird to her being that she’d never been in one before. She got out of the carriage and was led inside of the building. There were a lot of people there and she felt a little nauseous. Music began to play and she began the walk down the aisle to the rest of her life.
Chapter 3
Months passed by and King Hereward began to get frustrated. He had been trying for months to get Lady Avelin pregnant but it just wasn’t working. He needed an heir so that when he died the kingdom would have a great leader like he was. Not having conceived yet enraged him and he began to suspect that her father may have cursed him. He spares the man's life and the villagers life and this was the respect he got.
