King Edward is an ideal leader because he possesses all the key personal attributes that one would need in order to be an effective leader. First, King Edward is an excellent communicator. He is described as someone who “communicates well and loves to hear from his followers and have input from everyone.” It is extremely important for a leader to be able to effectively communicate his expectations, issues and advice because it reduces incidences of misunderstanding and consequent errors. It motivates a team to trust in their leader’s vision and be more readily aligned with it. Communication is a two-way process; to be an effective communicator, one has to be a good listener as well as a good speaker. As the quote aforementioned clearly shows,
