The cavalier King Charles spaniel is a genetically modified small spaniel that is classed as a toy dog by ‘the kennel club’. Being a very popular small breed, it has a silky smooth coat and a smooth undocked tail. This breed is generally considered a friendly family dog, however require a lot of human interaction.

The king Charles spaniels originates from small toy dog spaniels that was bought to Scotland in 1500s from continental Europe and became a must have lap dog for families, even king Charles the second loved the dog, which is where the name originates from.
