It was a sad time to have to watch families break up and watch moms and dads cry as they watch their children leave behind. When the kids got on the transport, most never returned, but some did. After the war started, the Kindertransport made a huge change. Germany made a pact with Poland to take any Jewish kids and hold them (“The Holocaust 114-115”). That was when the Kindertransport made a big change, instead of saving kids and taking them from Czechoslovakia to the UK (“The Holocaust 120-121”). The Kindertransport took kids from Poland to Germany to be sent into death camps were they were burnt, gased, or shot to death. In (“The Holocaust 123”) it says that the Kindertransport took 10,000 kids out of Germany and into the UK. But we don't know if all of them made it there or not. If it took 10,000 kids out of Germany, then how many did it bring back? You can only estimate how many were brought back and sent to the camps, but the sad part is that the kids did not stay very
