Describe The Project Management Process

Have you ever wondered about what goes on behind the scenes? Who’s the person giving orders? Or how is that possible? There are tons questions and assumptions we can think of ourselves, but wouldn’t it be better to ask someone who knows? I had the pleasure conversing with Dynell Jones, a project manager. Dynell is married and the father of three daughters and a son.
Dynell received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Technology that he started at Southern University and finished at Louisiana State University. He has been working as project manager in construction for over six years now.

TUP (The Utmost Professional): What is the simplest way you can explain to me what you do? What is Project Management?
DJ (Dynell Jones): Project Management is the coordination of both personnel and project execution in order to complete the desired …show more content…
DJ: KinderMorgan is the national leader for material handling. The company has a very diverse market. It focuses on handling, not producing, petrol chemical, natural gas, and pipelines. They are involved energy transportation by moving other people’s products. The company charge fees for other companies to use their products like storing liquids and dry products in their facilities.

TUP: What are some advantages and disadvantages of someone wanting to work in the oil and gas industry?
DJ: There is always way shifts in the economy and that results in shifts in the industries. An advantage of when an industry shifts is that you can take your skills from that industry (like oil and gas) and move to another (like electrical) when there are economic shifts in the economy. The nation’s economy is always going up and down, but many people are still successful.
