You are absolutely right, during these past few weeks I have been doing observations in kindergarten classrooms. I have noticed that girl’s basically only spoke and played with their same gender and the same goes for the boys. Then any interaction they had between the genders the boys seemed to be a little aggressive towards the girls. During gym time the boys and girls were separated, the girls had a female gym teacher meanwhile the boys had a male gym teacher. The girls seemed to get more of a positive vibe from their class teacher meanwhile the boys received more of a negative vibe due to the teacher being frustrated because of the boy’s behaviors.
