2. Presentation by CEBC’s Government Consulting Firm BBA
• BBA provided an update of regarding the release of the provincial budget. The provincial budget has a large focus on housing and childcare. The government also committed to getting rid of MSP premiums by 2020 with a new Health Tax that will be paid by businesses. The Kinder Morgan pipeline will likely expand. The energy road map is still being created, with a lot of focus on energy efficiency and building step code.
