I chose the plant Kimondromondro (Pachypodium Brevicaule) because it had such an interesting name, also no one knew about the plant well most people didn’t. Now I can see why it is Vulnerable because I nor my partners have heard of this Kimondromondro. But it seems like it would just be a normal plant that you would see every day. I have noticed that some problems of the plant are illegal collections, and finally it is also due to threat of habitat loss caused by wild fire and mining.

Well as far as I know I haven’t found that anybody has tried to make a solutions toward the plant or any attempts. I think that people should try to plant more of Kimondromondro, I know that it’s pretty difficult to keep from wildfires starting but people can at least try to keep the

sadly these species do not grow in a protected area and that’s what makes it vulnerable. Also experience of the plant just keep getting rejected due to the dangerous activates humans do. They should really help the planet instead of destroying it where it could probably help in the best ways.

Did you know that the plant Kimondromondro grows in dry bush lands? Also they are found in the woodlands on inselbergs on rock surfaces in the Antananarivo and Fianarantsoa provinces. You would think it’s an out grass land in the fields to where it would grow at but I’m assuming they are very popular in the forest. This plant is usually collected for horticulture trade: the art or practice of garden cultivation and management.

I don’t think that there are any policies that would ban flowers from put onto a house or basically a shop, if they were too for a very valid reason then maybe it would matter. But from now on no one has ever banned plants from being placed as a decoration anywhere or allow them. The people that I think would have to be involved is maybe someone that is quite powerful but not like the government, but it could be

The state agent points out that there are three daisy species that grow near the Anasazi archaeological site, the X. Confertifolia, the X. Tortifolia, and the X. Cronquistii. Based on the plants external structure, I can notice the X. cronquistii slightly differs from the X. Tortifolia in leaf margin, however, all three daisies appear similar in color and shape. Therefore, the evidence regarding the plants’ morphology is insignificant. Moreover, the X. confertifolia and the X. toritfolia can be found on a wider geographic scale.…

Results When we look at the results we must compare a native to a non-native to determine if the hypothesis is true. We determined earlier that we will compare American holly with Japanese privet, red bay with Florida anise tree, and kalmia with rhododendron. The American holly seemed to have more healthy leaves than the holly but not by much. The holly had 127 leaves with no damage while the privette had 139 leaves with no damage. The holly then had 97 leaves with less than ten percent damage while there were 107 leaves on the privette.…

It is therefore imperative that weeds are removed in the site, in order to preserve the endangered species and not threaten their survival. Using herbicides would be the most suitable way to remove the weeds on the site, as they are the most cost-effective and long-term control use. After the herbicide is used, a soil acting residual should be used to most effectively remove all weeds, and ensure they stay absent. Pollution can be seen not just in the Reserve, but also in areas surrounding it. This is due to…

Due to the plethora of stressors that negatively affect medicinal plants in Appalachia (McGraw et al. 2013), conservation action must be taken to ensure that these valuable plants survive for future generations. As medicinal plant species, especially ginseng, are of cultural and economic importance in Appalachia (Hufford 2002) they can be used to focus land management strategies. Indeed, ginseng can be described as a ‘cultural keystone species’ (Garibaldi & Turner 2004) as this plant is an economically valuable resource in Appalachia (Turner and Skoff, in prep) and a large component of the culture of NTFP harvest in this region (Turner et al., in prep). Additionally, ginseng is an important link in the food chain of the eastern deciduous…

According to the National Invasive Species Management Plan, an invasive species is defined as “a species that is non-native to the ecosystem under consideration and whose introduction causes or is likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health”. Invasive species will look like they belong in the environment they are taking over, however, more than likely they are over-powering a native species in their own habitat. Would you be able to identify one of the species I’m about to discuss? North America has more than twenty-nine hundred invasive species in our environment today.…
