Kim Kardashian’s rise to fame has been a topic of the norm, and more often than not derives from the commonplace opinions of fans and critics who either appreciate her strategic opportunist partnerships that lead her to continuous money and fame or find her entire infamy to be based on a single, less-than-classy event gone viral that will not cease to exist from pop culture as we know it. However, to understand why this one woman has maintained such a high profile in the spotlight for almost 10 years, a clear understanding of her upbringing as well as her decisions post-video scandal

The Kardashian name first came to public attention due to the O.J. Simpson court case for murder in 1994. Kim Kardashian is the daughter of the late Robert Kardashian who was the founder of Movie Tunes, Inc., a music and marketing company, as well as the friend and attorney of O.J.
