Mythology is a set of stories that a particular culture believes to be true, which shapes its peoples' means of understanding themselves and the world around them. We only know what we do, historically speaking, from previous populations, and what we are able to trace back through their writings, art, and architecture; all direct representations of their religious and mythological views and practices.

This Los Angeles family's initial, moderate level of wealth and notability has spiraled into a monster monopoly over pop culture, their impact on average folks' day-to-day lives via social media, fashion, art, and marketing elevating them to a God-like status socially, globally.

These Greek stories were about imaginary Gods and heroes, their myths often serving as cautionary tales for moral behavior. The Kardashian's reflect these values and stories in their real-life affairs.

Kim Kardashian most closely identifies with Ishtar, Goddess of naked jewelry. When she was absent, there was no sex (in the media). Kim serves as ring leader of the clan, having elevated the family to success with her shameless behavior and legendary sex tape. As "principle goddess" among the family, Kim is well-celebrated for her dramatic outbursts, and coined phrase “you’re seriously being so rude right

Her habitual tweeting and heavy social media presence as a whole are effective means of deliverance. As Hermes moves swiftly between the worlds of man and Gods, Kylie comfortably maneuvers any type of media she chooses, be it Instagram, Snapchat, or Twitter. Kylie's sense of humor, youthfulness, and self-serving nature all play into the "trickster" aspect of Hermes personality, as she is not unknown for playing jokes on her family members.

Kris Jenner, as primary maternal figure to the family, bears similarities to Frigg, Goddess of all things domestic and motherly. Her roles in establishing the family, through acts such as childbirth and general duties of motherhood, speak to Frigg's values. Kris is famous for providing her loved ones emotional support and motherly wisdom, phrases of hers like "you're doing great, sweetie!" having become common references in popular culture.

Rob Kardashian bears similarities to Hestia, Goddess of hearth. Rob suffers from social anxiety and thusly prefers to stay out of the limelight, in stark contrast to his family. Generally avoiding the public eye as best he can, and even on camera opting to "stay in" when the other Kardashian's prepare for their various high-profile events, Rob's introverted tendencies speak to Hestia's quiet, domestic lifestyle, and her abstinence from partaking in

This person was Jan Prochazka, who was a major figure during the Prague Spring. Prochazka commonly had conversations with a opposition figure, Professor Vaclav Cemy and their conversations were recorded and broadcasted throughout several radio stations. Milan Kundera depicts this as a horrid act and explains how people, no matter who they are, act differently in private than in public. He also states, “…private and public are two essential different worlds and the respect for that difference is the indispensable condition…for a man to live free,” which portrays Kundera’s beliefs on how the two “worlds” should never collide.…
