Have it ever boggled your mind how Kim Kardashian's known for all of the crazy things she does, but local heroes, heroes of change around the world who does things for others for the good of it not to get something out of it and are not recognized for it? For an example, who know Kady Ouedraogo? Do we know where she lives or her family or anything about her? No one ever took a chance to know the true heroes.We believe and assume people are who they are by a look or on tv. The truth is a hero could be anyone. A hero does not have be known around the world,it does not have to be a guy it could be a girl. Although their not known they made impacts on others. In her country when a boy is born it's celebrated and dried fruits, sweets, and coins thrown into their cradle something usually done for boys only but when a girl is born the people commiserate with the mother. Girls were only notice to take care of the house but malala thought “one child, one teacher ,one book ,one pen can change the world”(Yousafzai). Malala was named after “Malalai of Maiwand” a hero of Afghanistan. “Malalai inspired the Afghan army to defeat the British in 1880 in one of the biggest battles of the Second Anglo- Afghan war. Malalai was a daughter of a shepherd in Maiwand l, a small town and dusty plains west of Kandahar. When she was a teenager, both her father and the man she was suppose to marry were among thousands of Afghan fighting against the British occupation of their country. Malalai went to the battlefield with women from the village to tend the wounded and take them water. She saw their men were losing, and when the flag- bearer fell she lifted her white veil up high and marched onto the battlefield in front of the troops. ‘Young love!’ she shouted. ‘If you do not fall in the battle of Maiwand then, by God someone is saving the symbols of shame.’ Malalai was killed under fire but her words and bravery inspired the men go turn the battle around” …show more content…
All three of them did not give up when times got hard they just pushed right through it. Malala wants education for girls, Terence wants people around him to be happy and believe they have a meaning of life not to give up and Kady Ouedraogo wants people to know that you’re not alone that someone there will help you and if they don’t then someone else there will. These three people are what I call Heroes Of Change. Their is not a moment when any of these three people were gonna lose something Malala could’ve died , Terence might of not be able to use his legs as he would have, and Kady would not have found her meaning of life. There are heroes who are known worldwide who a heroes of change. This research paper was not written to shun people who have worked hard to get their names recognize and get where they are this paper was not written to be biased on who I think is best. This paper sheds light on every hero of kind local and worldwide. Local heroes are not known worldwide but they do affect the people that surrounds them. This maybe and may not be examples of heroes for some people this maybe be me and my belief alone but the fact will remain that there is more heroes and their will always be more heroes out there. I selected these people because i knew a lot of people can connect with them a little.
