By this point, you have probably heard about Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who was arrested for refusing to issue marriage certificates to homosexual couples despite the recent Supreme Court decision requiring her to do so.

This situation has caused a stark divide in the American public’s opinions. Is Kim Davis a law breaker deserving of jail time and ridicule? Or has she been vilified and denied the religious freedom that has been granted by our constitution?
