Killing Mr Griffin Character Analysis

In the book, Killing Mr. Griffin by Lois Duncan, Mark seems like he might have a screw or two loose in his head. In the book at the end it says how Susan’s mom is talking to Susan about Mark being a psychopath. Yes, Mark might be a psychopath but a lot of things affect him to turn out like this. A couple of things that affected are: his home life, school life, and outside life. Mark really is a messed up person but if you look beyond that you see the reasons why. Mark being called a psychopath could have been just because the way he grew up.

Mark’s home life was very poor. His dad died in his own bed with his house on fire. Mark’s mom did not want him. Thus, Mark was sent to live with foster parents. Mark was allowed to run a muck
