Sadly, many people are traumatized and have to suffer with that forever. However, many did not have to kill to be traumatized. What those people don’t understand is that those people are extremely rare, and should not be a part of our society. If a mass murderer kills one hundred people and has no regret, they should not exist. In Mockingjay Katniss discusses why she feels so alone in the world, even though she is surrounded by people. “I no longer feel any allegiance to these monsters called human beings, despite being one myself. I think that Peeta was onto something about us destroying one another and letting some decent species take over. Because something is significantly wrong with a creature that sacrifices its children’s lives to settle its differences.” Panem practically sacrifices it’s children every year for the Hunger Games. Katniss no longer can handle the loss of that much innocent life so she says why don’t we all just die and and let the monkeys take over. This is such an eye-opening way to think, and that is why more people should be exposed to as many opinions as possible so they can learn more about the world around
